The operator of the shop
The containers are sold by Clavis Logistic Kft.; the order and the invoice are concluded with them. The data controller and the seller are two separate legal entities.
What data we process
- Customer type, name or company name, and for companies the tax number.
- E-mail address and phone number for contact.
- Billing and delivery address, name and phone number of the on-site contact.
- Access or unloading note, if you provide one.
- Technical data: the time of the order, IP address and browser identifier for abuse prevention.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
We process the data to fulfil the order (performance of a contract), to issue invoices and to organise delivery. Retention of accounting documents is a statutory obligation.
The order tracking link
You can follow the status of your order without a password, through a long, random link. Share the link only with someone who needs to see the order details. The link is sent to your e-mail address; the system stores only an encrypted fingerprint of it.
If you have a Contiview account, you can link the order to your own account from the order tracking page. We send an informative e-mail about the link to the ORIGINAL e-mail address of the order. If your account address differs from the address on the order, the linking only takes effect after the confirmation link sent to the original address has been confirmed — holding the link alone is therefore not enough to take over the order.
Visit measurement on listings
When you open a container listing, we record that the listing was viewed. The record contains no name, e-mail address, user identifier, IP address or session identifier; only which listing was opened, when, from which country, and a fingerprint. That fingerprint exists solely so that the same visitor counts once per day: it is built with a salt that rotates daily, derived from a secret stored only on our server. The fingerprint does not identify anyone directly, and without the secret it cannot be looked up; the secret is not stored alongside the data and is not included in backups.
To prevent abuse (for example artificially inflating view counts) we keep the caller's IP address in a separate counter that lives for at most one day. That counter is kept apart from the view records above and cannot be linked to them.
The purpose of the processing is to let sellers see how sought-after their listings are, and to let us measure how the marketplace works. The legal basis is legitimate interest: the measurement is necessary for operating and improving the service, and with the solution above we process the least possible data for it. Individual records are deleted after 90 days; after that only a daily count per listing remains, from which no visitor can be identified.
You may object to the measurement using the contact details above; we will then exclude you from it going forward. We cannot delete individual past records on request, because they are built precisely so that they cannot be tied to you — the whole set disappears on its own within 90 days.
Your rights
You may request a copy, rectification or erasure of your data, or restriction of processing, using the contact details above. We fulfil erasure requests within the limits of statutory retention obligations.
