How does Contiview protect you?

What does the “Verified seller ✓” badge mean?

The Verified Seller badge is given only to a seller for whom a Contiview colleague has verified:

• • the official company name and company registration number,
• • the EU VAT number,
• • and bank account ownership: the seller proved with a bank certificate that the given account number is in the company's name — the buyer therefore demonstrably transfers to the contracting company.

For a new seller's first sales we check the payment details once more by hand before they are released.

Protection during the order

• The single authoritative source of transfer details is your order page. We never ask for a change of account number by e-mail — such a letter is fraud, and the order page always shows the account number verified by Contiview.
• Your reservation is free and without obligation until payment. If the seller does not confirm in time, the reservation expires on its own and no payment obligation arises.
• The exact depot address becomes visible after payment — until then you see a city/country level location (this also protects sellers' stock).
• Contiview Protection (optional): fresh photos of your containers before handover, a direct phone line and priority help in a dispute. If no fresh photo is taken before handover after all, the fee is automatically refunded. It is not insurance and not a financial guarantee.
• In a dispute your report is handled by Contiview Support; while the case is open the seller payout cannot be released and the photos around the handover stay locked.

Contiview is a marketplace: the sale is concluded between the buyer and the seller. We are not an insurer and we give no financial guarantee for the transaction. What we do commit to: verified sellers, verified payment details, a transparent process — and real help if you get stuck.
